Excerpt from a crazy email a friend received.

Thank goodness they told folks what to pray for!  Us childless people have no idea how to talk to Jesus, Allah, etc…

I know all of us are so excited for this next leg of C (mom) and S’s (dad) life journey.  What an amazing blessing it will be to welcome this precious little boy into the world.  His parents have been praying for him for such a long time!  Praise God!

C didn’t give me anything specifically she would like to have prayed for, but since I just had my first baby a year ago, I will take the liberty of making a few suggestions!

1) For a smooth and quick labor and delivery, but with gradual enough progression so that C’s body reaches each new stage smoothly and with as little pain as possible.
2) That if she chooses to have an epidural, the procedure would go smoothly and would alleviate the pain to the level it is supposed to, while still allowing her to feel the sensation to push when it is time.
3) For wisdom amongst the doctors and the nurses, and that they would be ready, willing, and able to meet C’s needs throughout the process.
4) For a HEALTHY baby!!!
5) For peace and tranquility in the first few hours with the baby.
